Chinese Red Cross ships 100,000 vaccines to Georgia

A shipment of 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine donated by the Red Cross Society of China to Georgia arrived there over the weekend, the society said on Tuesday.

The vaccines are made by domestic drugmaker Sinopharm and left Beijing on Friday.

The president of the Georgia Red Cross Society said its Chinese counterpart was the first national-level red cross group to provide assistance to Georgia, and expressed gratitude for the donation.
